PSY 257 Tracks and Topics for the Final Project
For the final project and for the upcoming assignments in Module Three and Module Five, you must
choose one of two tracks in the study of social psychology. The track you choose determines the studies
you will use to review literature, find a research gap, and design a study for your final project.
Do not worry if you are not familiar with the tracks or topics at this point in the course; you will be
learning much more about them throughout the term. Choose your track and topic thoughtfully,
however, as you will not be able to switch your track and topic once chosen.
Track One of your final project looks at the developmental and mental health disorders that impact
social thinking. Track Two examines environmental factors that impact ones social thinking.
Note: In this document, you are provided with three articles for each topic, but you will need to find two
additional articles to use for your final project.
