First Step
2-6 Project Part One: Artifacts and Theme Selection
Cultural artifact examples
The first artifact that I am going to discuss is poetry, which was written by Andrew warner. It is entitled A Love Letter To My Best Friend. The poem narrates how much the person loves his friend and why he has decided to write a love letter poem to him. Another artifact that I will discuss is a literature cultural artifact written by JK Rowling, and the literature is entitled Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. The writer has got a powerful friendship with Hermione, (Piovan, 2020).
Common Themes
The two cultural has a common theme which is friendship. All the two have embraced the value of having an unbreakable friendship. The poem talks about the good things that the two have done together. The literature artifacts talk about the unbreakable friendship that he has with Hermione. And he states that the friendship can make them stand up above even the great sorcerers.
Personal Experience
The friendship ship has got so much application in my experience. Having an unbreakable bond of friendship comes along with so many advantages in our lives. For example, a friend that I have been having since I was a kid has altered my life; without her, my life would not be the same as it is now, especially in dealing with issues about perseverance. She has taught me the importance of persevering; I was a person of losing hope very fast. Secondly, my friend had helped me when I was feeling down, mostly when I have not achieved my goals and objectives for any work that I have been doing. My friend has always been there to encourage me and to motivate me. She has always used a phrase saying that all is possible for a willing mind, and therefore there is no need to give up; the best thing one can do is continue striving and working hard. Lastly, my friend has helped me and celebrated the little achievements that I have been making and being there to celebrate me on my special occasions and days. This has always lifted my spirit, and it has made me feel the urge to live more so that we can have many occasions to celebrate, (Bondéelle, 019).
