Review this weeks resources, including the media on the military veterans on whom you focused throughout this course. Revisit their stories and consider their successes related to their trauma and traumatic reactions. What inspired you about their stories? If you know an active duty military personnel or veteran who inspired you, you may share this example in lieu of the media. For this Discussion, select one veteran that has inspired you.
Post( 2 to 3 pages) the identity of the veteran that you selected. Explain what inspired you about his or her story and his or her success in addressing their traumatic reactions. As a social worker, explain how this story can help to ignite your passion in working with active duty military personnel, veterans, and their families.
