Overview
The final project for this course is the creation of a ?PEST Analysis Report.
For your final project in this course, you will conduct an in-depth analysis of how a CHINAS geographic, political, economic, socio-cultural, and technological (PEST) environment affect the business practices of the country. You will evaluate this countrys business environment in a presentation and 10- to 12-page paper with proper citation.
In this assignment, you will demonstrate your mastery of the following course outcome:
Evaluate a foreign location for business viability.

You will select a country that you would like to research using this scenario for your Final Project: PEST Analysis Presentation and Report.
You will assume the following scenario as you research your country:
You have been hired as an expert international business consultant by Global Inc. Global Inc. has business units involved in a wide
range of products, including such things as heavy industrial machinery; consumer products; and banking and financial services. Although the firm has expanded over the years into other countries, some serious blunders have been made as a result of not understanding the business practices of the countries they were operating in. Global Inc. is now going to make a major, multi-line expansion into another new country. This project is extremely important to the firm, and if successful, will serve as a model for future international expansion. Because of its current financial position, the firm simply cannot afford to make a mistake.
Dr. Vaidya, Senior Vice President of the international operations of Global Inc., has come to you and requested an in-depth analysis of the country’s business practices to be reviewed by Global Inc. management as they proceed in their decision-making.
For? Part II ?of your final project, you will conduct a PEST analysis and submit a written report of your findings.
To successfully complete the PEST analysis report, you are not limited to the specific factors listed below, but you should focus the majority of your analysis in the following areas:
I. Introduction and Geography ?(no more than two pages)

Final Product Part II?: ?PEST Analysis Report
In Module 7, you will submit a written report of your PEST analysis. In this report, you will synthesize the information gathered for the milestones to support an in-depth PEST analysis of how the country’s geographic, political, economic, socio-cultural, and technological environment affect its business practices, and you will evaluate its viability for expanding a business in that country. It should be a complete, polished artifact containing all ?of the critical elements of the final product. It should reflect the incorporation of feedback gained throughout the course. ?This assignment will be graded using the Final Product Part II rubric.
Requirements of Final Product Part II: PEST Analysis Report:
Your PEST analysis written report must be between 10 and 12 pages in length, double-spaced (no extra spaces between paragraphs or sections), using Times New Roman 12-point font, with 1-inch margins on all sides. The cover page, table of contents, appendices (graphs, pictures, large tables, etc.), and the reference page(s) are not included in the 12- to 20-page limit. Pages must be numbered, and sections should ?NOT? start on a new page. It should be a complete, polished artifact containing ?all ?of the critical elements of the final product. It should reflect the incorporation of feedback gained throughout the course. ?This assignment will be graded using the Final Product Part II rubric.
