Background information:

This project requires students understanding for the period where the organisations faced various challenges due to the covid. The spread of COVID pandemic continuous and the gradually interdependence of the global economy increases the business uncertainty, predicting the future seems an impossible task.

During the times of COVID pandemic large number of organisations were facing various issues related with Lean procurement and Supply chain related issues. And these issues have challenged for every participant in the market.

Large number of start-ups have suffered during the pandemic, COVID has also led to an increase in entrepreneurial activity and it is observed that start-ups those who used information communication and technology at the fullest got an edge to others.

Students are also required furnish below mentioned questions and provide their suggestive answers.

To furnish the project students are required to follow the below steps :

STEP-1-(2- Marks)

Create a new company that to be located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which include(s) the followings:

1. Write brief introduction about the company.

2. Mention the kind of product(s) as well as services.

3. Write Vision and Mission of the company

4. Do the SWOT analysis.(Mention at least 3 to 4 points)

Identify various issues being faced by selected / created company.

· Demand and Supply,

· Leanness of E-Procurement Processes,

· Distribution Management of warehousing.

· Procurement challenge for the sourcing organization.

· Web Applications for the Outsourcing of Logistics Service

· Issues with the tracking and tracing

· Integration with Enterprise CRM, SRM & ERP Systems

· Issue related with cloud computing,

1. Discuss the ongoing impact of COVID-19 on global supply chains and to the business you selected.

2. Discovering the real impact of COVID-19 on entrepreneurship alongside lack of

employee morale and commitment(s).

3. Describe the Investment in technology and considerations on sustainability in the supply chain that will be key to success.

4. Discuss Role of ERP and issues related with its Implementation.
