The topic I choose for my I-Search Research Project is ˜Maintaining Boundaries. In this research assignment, I will be relaying the message of why it is important to maintain an environment that is effective and productive at developing boundaries in the respective human services profession. I chose my topic because I strongly believe in maintaining boundaries in the human services field. The job itself is very personal and can even be emotional for some of us, as professionals, and our clients, so learning how to keep the relationship comfortable enough for both of us to connect and understand each other, but also be constructive by getting the job done.
